Town Council Approves Charter Revision

By a vote of 7-3 The Town Council Approves Charter Revision. Alvin O’Neil (D-2) Amy Wanamaker (D-6) and Emma Brooks (D-4) voted against opening the charter.

Chairman Henrick(R-10), Michael Julian (R-1), John Dempsey (R-5), William Stroomer (R-7), Tom Moore (R-8) and Joseph Kubic (R-9) and Gavin Forrester (D-3) voted for to appoint a new Commission to reviewing the charter.

If you are a Stratford resident and interested in serving, submit your application and resume directly to the Council Clerk and Town Council. Contact information for the Town Council can be found here. Commission applications can be found here. The deadline for submission of all application materials is Friday, February 8, 2008.
