I have to go to town hall for official writen confirmation that I am a candidate to compete with you, for your position.
1) I was stunned on Mr. Barker’s Shakespeare vote. As you know, last year I made
suggestions regarding the Theater being a TAX PAYING Asset, using Strategic
Partnership, Branding, and Licensing as a Town Revenue Stream.
> I felt Angelo’s proposal with KKP was the WRONG SOLUTION, but for the RIGHT
REASONS (sincere belief it was best interest of the Town)
> I feel the Shakespeare Theater can become a Property Tax paying asset and
be a Revenue stream, however I now fear the RIGHT SOLUTION, will take place,
but for the WRONG REASONS, and lining some peoples’ pockets.
Please reply as to why you felt ANGELO’S KKP was the best option?
Please reply you beliefs of NON PROFIT vs. PRIVATE for PROFIT?
Please give feed back on “Where do we go from here?”

> Bad directions?
> Political / financial realities?

Vote Mulligan – 3rd District
I can’t do any worse? Can I?
Unfortunately you are smack dab between the Mirons, Burturlas,
Aldridge, Carroll, dODD, Rosa, LIEberman, Rellm et al, to which
I refer, within my Tag line.
I will have VERY EMBARRASING QUESTIONS on PENSIONS,
which you serve on that Board.
1. Debates – How many?
2. What do you see are the affect of potential Town Attorney conflicts of interest on District 3?
3. What do you see are the affects of over 2,000 condos at AVCO & Lordship Boulevard on Tax Base, School system, & Services on District 3.
4. What is your solution on the Define Benefit Pension
costing each Tax payer $ 144 per Thousand on the
Home/Property Taxes of 3rd District?
5. What is your plan for Shakespeare, as it affects the 3rd District?
6. What is your preferred solution for Remediation &
Consolidation, as it relates to the 3rd District.
7. What is your specific position on I – 95 Moses Wheeler Bridge construction and I 95 # 33 Entrance
and Exit, since it is in the 3rd District?
8. Do you support the Mayor’s Senior Relief program or
one like Trumbull and Shelton, for the 3rd District?
9. Do you have a plan for Economic Development and
ways to lower our District’s Taxes?

Good morning Councilman,
Yes, unfortunately we must report that we have had a significant fish
kill in Brewster’s Pond at Longbrook Park. The town was notified of
this situation by phone, from citizens walking in the area at
approximately 9:30 a.m. yesterday.
On town personnel arrival yesterday, they could see hundreds of dead or
dying fish along the edge of the pond and hundreds more toward the
center of the pond. Staff could not see any noticeable signs of
pollutants or any other suspicious materials in the water of the pond or
in the upper brook coming into the pond. Staff contacted the D.E.P. and
gave them all the available information they had at that point.
As of 12:00 noon yesterday, D.E.P. had not yet arrived on site.
D.P.W. Highway Supervisor Kevin White was also on scene and directed his
Highway Division crew collect and dispose of the dead fish.
Water samples were taken by Conservation Administrator William McCann
and will be tested by C.E.T. Labs. Mr. McCann believes that the “kill”
is an effect of low dissolved oxygen in the water. All indications and
observations are consistent with a low oxygen condition.
I will keep you updated as more information becomes available.

Thank you for the update.
I received this email earlier today – evidently there is a large fish
kill at Longbrook? Do you have any information on this?
Gavin,
I am not sure if you are aware of it, but something is killing the fish
in the upper pond. Yesterday the town took a bucket loader full of dead
fish out of the pond. Today a substantial number of very large fish are
crowded into the inlets in an apparent attempt to get fresh water in
order to breathe. I believe Bill McCann is aware of the situation. Let
me know if you hear what is causing this problem. Thanks Jim

Good afternoon Councilman,
All the equipment for the goal posts has arrived. The last parts this
week.
It was slow in coming. In order to install the units properly sleeves
have
to be set in concrete in so that the goal posts can be removed for other
sports. Phil wants to wait until the High Schools last game to install
the
sleeves so that they are set properly. This project will be done as
soon as
the games are over.
